Tip: Build Solutions that utilize Lifecycle Marketing

As a developer, you're likely interested in knowing what would be a great solution for Battle of the Apps so you can win. To help you better understand the three categories of apps further, I'll outline some examples to keep in mind as you build your winning integration.

GENERATE LEADS (ATTRACT)
Infusionsoft does a lot of things well, but what makes the whole software amazing to users is when there are a strong number of leads (contacts) being pumped through the system. Users would love to find a solution that makes it easy to drive more leads into their Infusionsoft account so they can follow-up and increase sales effectively. Pains in this area include making it dead simple to drive leads from their existing online applications. For instance, if you have built a solution to easily generate leads from WordPress to Infusionsoft, you would do really well.

INCREASE SALES (SELL)
Infusionsoft has its own e-commerce engine built right in. If you can make it easier to either find which customers should buy again, or identify which prospects are ready for a sale, then you would do very well in this arena. Another opportunity is to enable commerce to take place where Infusionsoft doesn't currently. For instance, taking sales on smartphones, processing card-present sales (like Square) or other intuitive, scalable, and secure methods of conducting transactions.

WOW CUSTOMERS (WOW)
Through its personalized sales and marketing software, every user can create the best possible experience for their customers. However, it isn't always very clear how customers can do this in a scalable and highly personalized way. If you are savvy with impressing people with powerful personal experiences through marketing software, you have a shot to build a winning solution. For instance, a solution that would identify qualified leads from Infusionsoft, and automatically send them a $5 Starbucks gift card could be a neat way to impress prospective leads in a caring and cost-conscious manner.

Lastly, be creative! Think through the needs of Infusionsoft users, talk with them, survey them and identify the blind spots where demand for a solution exists. Build a version one that achieves the stated benefit and expand later.
